Breakfast Banana Split
Stuck in a breakfast rut? Try this banana split for breakfast. I know my daughter would crush a real banana split with three different kinds of ice cream, chocolate sauce, and all the sprinkles but we aren’t eating that for breakfast!
Try this instead! Rather than building fruit, yogurt, and granola in a bowl or parfait, I called these banana splits and my kids were all about it! This is so easy and fast and is a great start to your day.
All I did was slice a banana lengthwise (if you have real little ones just use half a banana!), place a few dollops of yogurt, and sprinkle on my favorite granola with berries. My kids love the Chocolate Sea Salt granola from Purely Elizabeth so that’s what you see here. Use what you have on hand or let your littles choose what they want. Creating buy-in is always a great tactic for feeding kids; they usually eat what they make.
