Coffee Protein shake
This coffee protein smoothie is my new go-to post-workout snack. I’ve been drinking way less coffee (I’m feeling great!) but having this late morning after a workout has been awesome. It uses ingredients you likely already have in your pantry (maybe you need to get some dates & protein powder!).
I love Vanilla EarthChimp vegan protein powder. It doesn’t taste chalky or have that weird protein powder smell & texture.
Recipe:
To a blender add:
1 C cold coffee (using leftovers from the morning works, or instant)
1 tbsp peanut butter
1 hefty scoop of vanilla protein powder
1 single-serve coffee yogurt (I like Chobani Greek)
2 dates, pit removed and torn
1 tbsp maple syrup
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 C ice
Blend until smooth & enjoy it!
