Coffee Protein shake

This coffee protein smoothie is my new go-to post-workout snack. I’ve been drinking way less coffee (I’m feeling great!) but having this late morning after a workout has been awesome. It uses ingredients you likely already have in your pantry (maybe you need to get some dates & protein powder!).

I love Vanilla EarthChimp vegan protein powder. It doesn’t taste chalky or have that weird protein powder smell & texture.

Recipe:

To a blender add:

  • 1 C cold coffee (using leftovers from the morning works, or instant)

  • 1 tbsp peanut butter

  • 1 hefty scoop of vanilla protein powder

  • 1 single-serve coffee yogurt (I like Chobani Greek)

  • 2 dates, pit removed and torn

  • 1 tbsp maple syrup

  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

  • 1 C ice

  • Blend until smooth & enjoy it!
